Candidate Terms
Last updated: July 2026
1. Who we are
Floated is operated by Nimble Panda Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Floated", "we", "us"). Floated acts as an employment agency for the purposes of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. The service is free for you
We never charge candidates. Not for matching, not for applications, not for introductions. It is illegal for an employment agency to charge work-seekers for finding them work, and we would not do it anyway. Employers pay us when they hire.
3. What we do
→ Match your CV and preferences against live roles.
→ Submit applications on your behalf to matched roles (capped at 5 per day, every one visible in your dashboard, every one disclosed as sent via Floated).
→ Relay messages between you and employers. Your contact details stay hidden until you accept an interview.
→ Email you job alerts for searches you save, at the cadence you choose. Unsubscribe links are in every email.
4. What we ask of you
→ Your CV and profile must be accurate and your own.
→ You must have the right to work in the roles you pursue, and provide evidence of it to employers when asked.
→ Tell us when you accept a job found through Floated, so we stop matching you and can invoice the employer, not you.
→ Use the platform for job seeking only.
5. No guarantee
We work to find you relevant roles but cannot guarantee matches, interviews, or offers. Job listings from external sources may close or change without notice. Hiring decisions belong to employers, not us.
6. Your data and your account
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, including what we share with employers and when. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your CV, profile, and matching data on the schedule described there.
7. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them with 14 days' notice by email. Questions or complaints: [email protected]. You can also refer complaints about employment agencies to the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate.
